Alison Terry - LEA Governor & Chairperson for Drayton Parslow and Mursley

I have lived in Drayton Parslow for over 30 years. Both my children attended Drayton Parslow Village School and I have been a Governor since 2000. I have recently retired from a career working within the Early Years Sector. I first worked as manager in Drayton Parslow Playgroup before moving to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where I managed their holiday childcare provision. I ended my career within the Early Years’ Service of Buckinghamshire Council where I took the lead in safeguarding matters and allegations management in the Early Years sector. I bring the knowledge and experience from these roles along with previous career experience in the finance industry to my role as Governor.

Justin Willett - Co-opted Governor - Drayton Parslow and Mursley

I have been a Governor for Mursley, and then the collaboration, since 2006 and was involved with colleagues and staff in the forming of the Three Schools. I’m extremely pleased in the formation and continuing success of this collaboration. I want all the children to benefit from the best education and environment we can offer them. I live in Little Horwood with my wife Fiona (who is a teacher at another local school) and our three children, who have all attended the school. We have lived in the local area for over 26 years. I work as a marketing consultant.

Heidi Martin - Staff Governor - Drayton Parslow and Mursley

I am a staff Governor and have had the opportunity to work across all three sites. At present my roles include: Assistant Headteacher, Maths co-ordinator and Year 2 class teacher alongside Mrs Glover.
In my spare time (which is very little as I have two children) I like to keep fit, visit art and craft exhibitions, travel, and socialise with friends and family.

Sandra Burch - Governor - Drayton Parslow and Mursley

I have lived in Mursley for 12 years with my partner, John, and our retired medical detection dog.  We love being part of the community and particularly enjoy walking weekends with a group from the village. I feel honoured to have been asked by the Parochial Church Council to become a governor for Mursley and Drayton Parslow Schools and hope that I can contribute to creating an environment where all children in the schools can thrive.

I have recently retired, having spent the last 20 years in HR roles, most recently as HR Director in a global engineering consultancy. The company worked with local schools in encouraging children to participate in STEM ( Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) activities and hope that I can bring some ideas of what we did to the Three Schools.
