A Day of Giggles with Michael Rosen’s Poems

On Thursday 13th November, KS1 and EYFS celebrated Michael Rosen Day to inspire the children to get creative and play with poetry!

The theme for this year was Funny Food: A Feast of Poems and the children were lucky enough to join a free live ‘Poetry Party’ event, where they watched and listened to Michael perform some of his best-loved funny food poems, including ‘Chocolate Cake’!

The children took inspiration from Michael, creating funny food poems and ‘food journeys’. A great, creative, fun-filled morning.
