On Thursday 5th March, Portals From the Past brought Ancient Egypt to life for an action-packed day of learning.

Pupils explored the role of pharaohs, cracked hieroglyph codes, practised measuring in cubits, and even became Egyptian hunters. They also enjoyed traditional games like Hounds and Jackals.

In the afternoon, the children learned about mummification, took part in an army drill, and raced chariots, before ending the day with a captivating story.

It was a fantastic day, and the children were praised for their enthusiasm and excellent behaviour throughout.
