Last term Year 3 loved exploring their English text, The First Drawing. It inspired some wonderful descriptive writing, poetry, and diary entries, highlighting the children’s amazing creativity.

The book also linked beautifully with their art and history work, prompting pupils to consider who the very first artist might have been. Inspired by the story, the children created fantastic mammoth models, bringing their learning to life.
