Year 6 have an adventurous time in Devon!
From Monday 9th June to Friday 13th June, Year 6 pupils
visited Skern Lodge in Bideford, Devon for an action-packed
week full of outdoor and adventurous activity.
They were incredibly lucky with the weather (mostly) and experienced GLORIOUS sunshine for most of the week!
The children took part in a variety of activities including;
• Assault Course
• Crabbing
• Surfing and Bodyboarding
• High Ropes
• River Rafting
• Beach Bike Trip
• Campfire
• Swimming Olympics
• Skern Lodge Olympics
• Zip-Line
• Seashore Trail (Westward Ho!)
We were so proud of the way that the children persevered, with many of them facing and overcoming their fears and challenging themselves. We were also very pleased to see the way in which the children supported and encouraged each other throughout the week – well done Year 6!
