Welcome to Kingfishers Preschool

Kingfishers Preschool can be found in purpose-built facilities in the grounds of Mursley CE School, offering provision for children from the age of 2 until they move to their chosen school.

In the Early Years our aim is to provide a secure, welcoming and friendly environment that helps to support and promote your child’s development, ensuring they have the best start in their school life. We provide a wealth of activities and experiences based around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which starts in Pre-School and continues through to Reception.

Our curriculum is rich, exciting, challenging and engaging. We believe that children learn best through first-hand experiences and give them plenty of opportunities to learn in an adventurous way. The teaching ethos in the Early Years classes is creative, varied and hands-on. The children are encouraged to discover, question and relish their learning in order to gain a solid foundation in every area of learning and become independent pupils.

Our core hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am until 3pm. We offer the choice of morning, afternoon, or full day sessions. In addition, we have a small number of places available for extended days between 8:00am and 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. If you have extended care requirements (before and after core hours) please contact Sarah Goodier to discuss.

We look forward to meeting you and your child, and to welcoming them to Kingfishers.
