Drayton Parslow Village School - Year 2
Welcome to Year 2 at Drayton Parslow Village School. Here we enjoy learning with Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Martin, along with our teaching assistant Mrs. Tegg. In Year 2 we want to inspire the children, celebrate their successes and create confident, independent learners.
In Year 2 we have a rich and varied curriculum. See the table below which outlines the topics covered throughout the year.
|Spring 2||Summer 1||Summer 2|
|Geography||Spatial Sense||The British Isles||Nothern Europe|
|History||Romans in Briton||The Tudors||Powerful Voices|
|Science||The Human Body||Living Things and Their Environment||Electricity||Plants||Materials and Matter||Astronomy|
To enrich our curriculum, we offer children the following experiences. Often these provide valuable opportunities to develop relationships with the wider community in Drayton Parslow and encourage the children to think about others.
