EYFS create their own Bog Babies
Mon 12 Jun 2023Mursley Foundation class have recently been busy thinking about the book Bog Baby. They designed their very own Bog Babies and created them out of clay before painting them some fantastic colours.
They have built on their learning from their College Lake trip, thinking about what things their Bog Babies need to survive. Apparently, Anna found hers at the swimming pool, Phoebe's like to eat chicken nuggets and chips and Alex's makes chicken noises!
The children have been so creative and the Bog Babies are each so individual.

Year 6 ‘Take over’ MK Museum
Mon 12 Jun 2023Recently, Year 6 pupils had an exciting morning at the Milton Keynes Museum learning about the time period and related artefacts.
After Half term they used this knowledge to become tour guides and shop keepers at the museum, presenting their new knowledge to KS1 pupils from Drayton Parslow and Mursley Schools – the younger children loved this experience and a great time was had by all. Well done Year 6. -
Swanbourne’s Super Sensory Garden
Mon 12 Jun 2023Our Swanbourne children have been enjoying their new Sensory Garden, which has been designed to provide the children with a calm, quiet corner to go to when the playground becomes a bit overwhelming.
The children can explore the different textures of the sensory boards, the touch and scents of the herbs, doodle on the butterfly chalk boards or simply read a book.
It’s been lovely to see how much the children are enjoying both spending time there but also caring and helping to maintain it by sweeping the decking and watering the plants. So far it has been a huge hit with all the children and we hope will benefit everyone.
An enormous thank you to The Friends Of The Three Schools for providing the funding and to Mrs Newman for her time, hard work, dedication and imagination to allow this amazing idea come to come to life!
